How do you build the dragon platform?

Is this a Phenom II processor and a board with the 790GX chipset?

What is the difference between the 790 GX and the 790 FX chipset?

What is the best manufacturer motherboard to build a Dragon Platform?

Can You use an nvidia chipset instead?

I have heard alot of complaints about the ATI drivers, people say that they are a real pain to install...

The nvidia drivers/ grapics get much better reviews, but nearly all available motherboards sold in US are ATI (?)

I do not play video games, what I do want is mutimedia, DVD playback, CAD drafting, without the "chopping" of the video image at full screen resolutions. And without the processor overloading to 100%!
