My new media machine is based upon a Gigabyte (GA-Ma785GMT-UD2H) mother board with an AMD (Athlon II x2 Dual core 250 3.0GHz) processor, 4GB of memory in ‘un-ganged mode’,  a 1TB hard drive and 64-bit Windows 7 RC version operating system.

This computer drives a JVC 50" 1366x768 plasma display model number GD-V500PCE which is quite old and not recognised by the computer display software which it nominates as an unchangeable  TH-50PH*30 (whatever that is) and in consequence does not offer a matching 1366x768 resolution. Currently I am using the compromise 1280x768 resolution but this causes aspect ratio distortion on 16x9 aspect ratio photographs and HD TV services.

I would very much welcome advice on acquiring a suitable driver which will offer the 1366x768 resolution and instructions for installing it.
