I am trying to add dual monitor capability to five Dell Vostro 200s slim-towers in our office.  Dell recommended using either the

Radeon HD4550 PCIe 512MB DMS59 dual monitor SFFF-Short + Tall Brackets

or the

Stealth ATI Radeon 9250 128MB DDR PCI Graphics Card.

The 9250 is much less expensive than the 4550 and seeing we are using it in an non-graphic intensive office environment (Word, Excel, etc) I was hoping that the 9250 would suffice.  However I saw a blurb on the WEB where someone was upset because the 9250 would only support 1024x768 resolution on the DVI connections.  We would like to have at a minimum one port with 1920x1080 resolution for our 23" monitors and one with 1680x 1050 resolution for our 19" monitors.

I haven't been able to find any info on the resolution capabilities of these two cards anywhere so far and ATI phone support is down for a while.

Does anyone know where I can find the info I need to be able to make an informed decision about what is the best choice for us.  I spent over half an hour on the phone with DELL support and feel blessed they would talk with me even though our systems are out of warranty.
