  I need help with this. I looked all through support FAQ and couldn't find a darn thing about it.

  I've been messing around trying to find the correct drivers to make this work with no luck. It did work great before all the tv stations went digital. It still works on my old computer that I never use much anymore.

  I either get an error message saying "cannot connect to server"  or  Tv player failed to initalize.

  My disc that came with this say's  TV WONDER. VERSION #500. A box with numbers in it ON THE DISC   180-V01018-500

 

My hardware has these numbers on it:

  SN  160339011675

  PN:  1026830830086905

  3139 147 13251D#

F11236  MK2/PH  hm

SV23  0313

Thats all the numbers I see on it anywhere. I hope that helps to identify it.

 Hoping you can provide any help with drivers, settings, anything to get me back up and going with this.

This computer drives a JVC 50" 1366x768 plasma display model number GD-V500PCE which is quite old and not recognised by the computer display software which it nominates as an unchangeable  TH-50PH*30 (whatever that is) and in consequence does not offer a matching 1366x768 resolution. Currently I am using the compromise 1280x768 resolution but this causes aspect ratio distortion on 16x9 aspect ratio photographs and HD TV services.

I would very much welcome advice on acquiring a suitable driver which will offer the 1366x768 resolution and instructions for installing it.

The nvidia drivers/ grapics get much better reviews, but nearly all available motherboards sold in US are ATI (?)

I do not play video games, what I do want is mutimedia, DVD playback, CAD drafting, without the "chopping" of the video image at full screen resolutions. And without the processor overloading to 100%!

From some days I try instal FME on my WinXP SP3. And all my work go to nothing. But today I found this article and it inbreathe me.
If you want instal AMD Fusion Media Explorer on XPPROSP3 you must do ONE SIMPLE MOVE. Download SuperOrca
Empty your TEMP folder C:/Docs & Set/(Username)/Local Data/TEMP
Begin normal instalation of FME but DON'T CLICK OK When you see INCORRECT OPERATING SYSTEM
When you have open this error window go to TEMP folder and copy on your desktop THE ONLY FOLDER on TEMP directory.
Open SuperOrca and than open SETUP.MSI file in it.
On LAUNCH CONDITION you have VersionNT>=600, click on it RMB and choose ALTER ROW
Than you see edit box, ther change THIS SIGN=> ">" to THIS SIGN=> "<". It mean instalation WANT Windows version LESS THAN VISTA. Probable you can than instal it on Win 98 :LOL:

There is a thing which really annoys me in the FME beta:

When i am playing a video, then pressing the home icon the video still continues to play, but it is not a logical thing to me: The user wont be able to watch the parts while being in the Home menu and choose there the music category the vid will be annoying with the sound. Either the video pauses or the video stops when switching from Video menu to the Home menu

Here is the problem I am having.

Fram rate drops to as low as 3 frames. Example was playing in a group for more than an hour and frame rate was in the 45 range then drop to 12 fps then to 3 then to 1 etc and stays there around  very slow and jerky.

1) An actual full screen mode (without any of the sliders and menus) enabled by double clicking the playing video like in wmp.

2) In the ribbon instead of playing the video preview in a new box why not just play the video in the ribbon when the mouse cursor is positioned over it.

3) more file support as others have said FLAC and H264.

This is some of the most promising media software ive used in a while i understand its still in Beta but with a bit of polishing and some more features you guys are onto a real winner. Thanks this software has made my weekend

Known Issues:
Caution: The AMD Fusion Media Explorer application has not been tested on every possible hardware combination available in the market today. Pre-release testing was performed using a variety of AMD platforms including:

Application:

- Any web forms that are partially filled out will lose their data if the application crashes

- Any uploads that are in progress will abort if a crash occurs

- There are many UI glitches in the installer and the application, and we are working to clear these up as quickly as possible

- You need the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player for related online media and other software features

- Microsoft® .NET Framework Version 3.5 Service Pack 1 is required to run AMD Fusion Media Explorer
