Hi, i've no AMD CPU/GPU in my computer, is it possible to develop OpenCL applications? Everytime i run my written OpenCl Program in VS2008 i get a Messagebox that says: aticalc.dll not found? I've an Intel CPU and i want to run OpenCL programs on the CPU. I installed the AMD SDK.

You can use OpenCL without AMD-GPU/CPU. Please refer the following thread to run apps only in CPU. http://forums.amd.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=390&threadid=120308&enterthread=y ------------------------- The information presented in this document is for informational purposes only and may contain technical inaccuracies, omissions and typographical errors. We also did an in place update of the v2.0-beta4 SDK to hopefully take care of that issue (the OpenCL runtime requiring the CAL DLLs). If you grabbed the SDK package before today and are still having issues with running in CPU only mode without an AMD GPU, try grabbing the updated v2.0-beta4 and seeing if it helps.
