They probably mean 64% better performance on a well threaded game. Even that I would really doubt it. A E7200 can be had for the same price as a X3 8450 and for most games it will be better.

it's "it says so right here" not "it sais so right here"
I really dont believe all those performance ad's, but this time they went overboard

Yeah...it appears there's an extra zero to the number...
That's 'only' a 10x super-bonus.

That 640% I think is in reference to the entire gaming experience with the 780G version the Intel platform. What they are saying is that by going the AMD way with a 3-core and their platform you are set to play modest gaming while the Intel system isn't as good in that regards while spending less money than the Intel setup. There's usually a caveat stated, but after watching the video I think that's what they are getting at.

Or they could be referring to those cheap Intel Pentium Dual Core processors

Yeah, I'm guessing pairing the ATI HD4750/4780 with an Intel C2D system would yield the same if not better results? Or is the 780G/790GX that has these High Definition engines?

They are talking about integrated budget systems. The ones that most people out there would picking up off the shelves or building a cheap computer that can do some actual light gaming.

This % would be possible against intel systems with intel video card.
ATi Radeon mobile vs. intel mobile graphics emulator --> the % is very valid.

Funny thing is this is marketing the X3 Phenom
When in reality most of the work is being done on the GPU for games....

Yeah, it's a cheat to talk about it reffering to CPUs, but for platform vs. platform it's a fair comparison.

Normally quite true, the only real exception I have seen to this in a long time is Farcry 2.

Are there any good triple core vs quad core reviews out there? Also, shame Intel's initial quad core offering was just two dual cores, leaves them in an untapped makret for tri-cores. Wonder if thats something they will start to do with nehalem or w/e they call. I hardly keep up anymore with hardware, well, minus AMD/ATi. Im diehard fan.
