Small, portable, pico projector:

http://www.engadget.com/2008/1...d-specced-and-priced/

From Dailytech:

"HP and Arizona State University (ASU) have teamed up to develop a flexible display at the Flexible Display Center (FDC) at the university. Today the FDC announced that it has developed the first prototype of an affordable, flexible electronic display. The flexible display is paper-like, but constructed totally out of plastic. The plastic construction allows the display to be easily portable and consume less power than typical displays available today. The technology could also make its way into future electronic devices like smartphones and notebook computers. The displays are claimed to be unbreakable and use up to 90% less materials by volume when compared to traditional LCD displays."

When will this product appear on the market?
Will the future TV /notebook / cellphone/PDA use rollable / foldable display or mini projectors?

Do you think 9 lumens is not good for presentations for 5-10 people?

I guess it depends on how big you want the projection to be, 9 lumens is like the display on a modern cell phone, or the equivelent to 9 birthday candles at one foot away
