I asked our admins to turn on post ranks while we're handling the problem with threads being cutoff over too many images.

I said I'd let them know once we got enough information posted in my bug tester recruiting thread. I'm guessing it shouldn't be that difficult to get the ball rolling once that happens since it should be fairly simple to recreate the bug, and then it's probably just a matter of tinkering with tables to figure out what's making it freak out.

my guess mime is an overflow in the forum software, not being able to handle the size of the images all at once in a single thread. Thats just my theroy though
