recently bought a new HP e9240f, Nov 18th, and Dec 10th replaced the bd-rom, Lite-On DH-403S with an LG UH08LS10 and now when i use the drive to watch a movie, or burn a dvd get a Raid error as follows: AMD RAIDXpert task 0 timeout on disk (Port number 3, Target ID 1) at LBA 0x5a14a (Length 0x0). computer came installed with raid, have never used it before, know nothing about it other than what i've read on the net now because of the error. is it the new bd-rom causing the error or is this error more specific to a RAID failure or something? mobo is a Foxconn H-RS880-uATX. thx for any suggestions you might have!!

I would start a synchronization (fix) in the RAIDXpert user interface http://localhost:25902/amd/login.jsp.

If you still have errors after that completes, you should boot diagnostics for the drive and test it. You may have to RMA the drive, or have HP fix the computer.
