BF3 challenges my rig just fine...all 4 GP's and all 6 cores running on 3 screens.

I kinda' had the feeling when I started this build over 3+ years ago, that this might be my one and only chance to be on the cutting edge of Tech.

Now with Mobile devises being the biggest money maker in the Tech. Industry, it would seem we PC enthusiasts may be going the way of the Dinosaur. I haven't even heard rumors of a descent game coming out on PC in the near future.

I did notice however the the Industry leaders are planning their next move by buying up smaller Tech. Corps., forming new partnership, and alliances. (amd-arm-common-rival-intel) http://phys.org/news/2012-06-a...mmon-rival-intel.html

It's going to be interesting to see which way this pans-out with Intel x86 patent rights nearing it's expiration date. {(Patent #5481684 Emulating operating system calls in an alternate instruction set using a modified code segment descriptor) Patent 5481684 Issued on January 2, 1996. Estimated Expiration Date: Icon_subject July 20, 2014.}

Even Might-Grow-Scoffed may be jumping-ship, from the x86 OS and leaning towards making an OS that would be more universal for interaction with other Architectures.

I have that some chip in my wife's comp. It will be replaced with my 1090T before too long though.
