I have an AMD A6-3670 APU with a built in AMD Radeon HD 6530D video card + a Westinghouse L2046NV Monitor that supports resolutions of up to 1400x1050. Anyway, when I go to Desktop properties, this are the resolutions I can choose from:

800x600
1024x768
1152x864
1280x720
1280x768
1280x800
1280x960
1280x1024
1360x768
1366x768
1440x900
1600x900
1600x1200

As you can see, there's no 1400x1050. I've installed the latest drivers downloaded from AMD web site, the Catalyst Software Suite v12.8.

Do you know how or what I can do to set the monitor resolution to 1400x1050. Thank you very much!.

try the driver from westinghouse.

Thanks for your reply!. But the monitor manufacturer does not provide drivers for at least, this monitor.

This is just for the forum comunity just in case someone else has this very same problem (despite the VGA | monitor combination you have).

I've changed the VGA cable from a double VGA end to a one double DVI end. Now the Desktop Properties gives me the option to choose from 800x600 to 1400x1050.
