Hi All,
I have a new Toshiba L850D-00V laptop with:

- AMD A8-4500M APU (Quad Core) - 1.90Ghz

- Radeon HD 7640G graphics

- InsydeH20 BIOS Ver 1.20; EC Ver 1.60

- Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) with 8GB RAM

I am running Oracle VirtualBox (Ver 4.1.20) - and attempting to run Win 8 (either 32 or 64bit). I setup the base image properties O/K, but the Win 8 install fails and the error seems to be related to my laptop not having virtualization enabled in the BIOS.

I had no problems running Win 8 (32bit) as a guest using VirtualBox on my old HP Pavillion 6930p with Windows 7 Enterprise and 8GB RAM.

Again - thanks for your help - if someone could help with this it would be really appreciated. I can't find any reference to 'vitrualization' (or similar) in the BIOS utility at all.

Regards,

Brian Wormald.
