if your a bit torrent user.. ur better off with sygate personal firewall PRO version than ZAP.. ZAP dislikes BT uers.. it blocks 99.9% of the connections so you'll get a really really low download rate.. slower than 28.8K if not 14.4K kind of connection.. lol

If you have SP2 why spend the money . I have SP2 and a Router no troubles here. Maybe you can spend the money on some more lights.

I like Sygate Personal Pro 5.5, personally, I wouldn't wanna pay anything for Zone Alarm. I do not know why, but there's something quite dislikable about it. Probably the fact that it seems too "paranoid", and it has a Purple and yellow theme goin' on.
Can't you go with a trial edition or something KoolAid and if you get on with it, buy the product... or something. I would recommend you give Sygate a try man, it's good. Kerio is pretty good too, and it blocks ads. Not sure how well Kerio it works with BT though.

I meant pop-ups in your web browser, not sure what you meant by "them".

It's only ZA 5 that messes up BitTorrent. There's info on it here: - http://azureus.sourceforge.net...dex....x.php/ZoneAlarm' ">http://azureus.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/ZoneAlarm Personally I would use Sygate.

I use zonealarm 5 and yes it does block connection to bt clients. But I am on dial "down" and I dont use it very much. The only reason I still use the free version of zonealarm is because mynetwatchman, which allows me to report attacks against my computer to the ISP.
EDIT: It doesnt block all connections, just slows it down.

I had ZAP until I found Sygate Personal Pro 5.5; I found ZAP's support to be completely automated and horrible! While using ZAP I constantly received error messages when connecting to different sites, also different aspects of sites wouldnt work even after configuring ZAP settings to the lowest possible.
