I am trying to recomend a gfx card foir a friend, and his budget is about 100. I was wondering whether I should go with the 5700le, 9550 or the 5200. thx

ATI 9550. 128-bit version. Its basically a 9600 core underclocked. Which can be overclocked to 9600 pro speeds. or....just have a pretty good DX9 processing core on stock speeds.

The 5700LE is as bad as, if not worse than, most nVidia XT versions (apparently excluding the 5900XT as that is a different story). The 5200 is just a poor excuse for a graphics card altogether, to be honest. So, if you are going to pick between the three, take LVSeminole's advice and go with the ATi 9550, which did extremely well in the Asian market, so they decided to market it over here too. It's a nice card, without a doubt.
