Any Web Designers here?
It doesn't have to be your job as long as you do it. I am both.

I do some mysql and php programming, I find it to be quite useful to make web-based apps. I do a lot of networking and sys-admin stuff at college, but web programming is something I prefer to do on the side...

i mean, it gets hard to manage all of it if you have a lot of pages. and it gets really boring looking for one typo that messes up the whole layout.

Not really. You haven't tried so don't say it's hard when you haven't tried.

I used to be into Flash, but now I think it has gotten overrated. It does cool stuff, but I prefer oldschool programming to do my special effects.

I've written html for 5 years, but only now I'm getting a bit of php stuff. Real basic stuff though, like guestbooks, visitor counters and such.

EDIT:
Here's a few websites that I've made:

http://kitara.2ya.com' ">http://kitara.2ya.com (website for an IRC channel about guitars)
