Seen it...System based on the Geode, I have an older all in one sitting beside me based on a 300MHz Geode cpu, it has a touchscreen interface and runs embedded NT...It is low powered and will let you surf the web...Problem is it's wicked SLOW....

The newer Geodes are faster though...AMD is trying to get into the mini-itx and embedded areas of computing with this platform. They are quite low powered too around 9W IIRC for the slower Geode...anyone with a car battery and a small manual generator could run one...

Via is way ahead of them with the VIA EDEN/EPIA line...

Yeah, I've been looking at an Eden 1Ghz to do my work from home on, so I don't have to put all that extra security garbage on my gaming rig. Plus it's so small that I can tote it to service coordinator's homes to set their PC's up for remoting in to the office server.

IO think it is a good idea even though it won't probally work. Think of it like this, the people that use the net the more money to be made. The more money to be made the better opertunitie out there for new and exciting things. Just so long as the flood of main streamers don't cause us to be forgetten.
