My Gigabyte MOBO came with some rubber washers for the screw mounts. Someone told me they hinder the MOBO's ground. There are 9 screw holes in the MOBO and I have blown the board 3 times. Now that I have taken the washers off I have had no problems at all. Feedback please!

That is really weird, maybe you finally got a good board, washers help protect the board, usually 100% of he time they do not affect stability issues.

I think those washers are for you hard drives and other things, to suposedly reduce vibration and noise. Antec PC noise killer kit is just a whole bunch of gaskets.
But they do absolutly nothing to make things run quieter.

My antec 1080SMG at the time $130 didnt come with any mobo washers (like my cheap generic one did) it actually cut me short on the appropriate screw for the mobo. but the generic one had enough for both :\ But they arent needed.

I have never experienced any problems by not installing them but still, they are meant to do some good in grounding issues. So I would suggest that you use them.
Infact, at a particular troubleshooting guide, I remember reading that no part of the motherboard should come in direct contact with the metal of the casing.
