When the tyrant has disposed of foreign enemies by conquest or treaty, and there is nothing more to fear from them, then he is always stirring up some war or other, in order that the people may require a leader.

That's a workstation card Philix. Desktop cards and workstation cards are two totally different animals. The difference is that desktop cards are designed for speed at the cost of accuracy, while workstation cards are designed for accuracy at the cost of everything else. Would it work well as a gaming card? Probably. However, it would be the wrong tool for the wrong job.

that card is used for rendering, which needs accuracy in rendering, not speed.

It may not be a desktop card but it's pretty

Do workstation cards actually make use of the extra onboard RAM? A desktop card wouldn't even use 256MB currently much less the extra 128MB.

In response to fallen phoenix, most CAD/Workstation cards can make use of all of there memory, for example, a 100Mb Pro/Engineer or 3DS Max image would easily use that memory!
