(not sure if this is the right place for this)

this is a kinda odd issue, when i select some files, and choose 'cut' then put them on a different partition on a different harddrive, the filenames are removed from the partition's files listing, but no free space is gained, so it acts like they were not removed, yet the filenames are removed /blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />

any idea how i can get this space back? /huh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='huh.gif' />

thx /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

Edit: found the 'missing' files by digging through the partition's recycle bin in safe mode, now just to figure out how to get it back to normal with cutting *must remember not to use it for now*

You'll need to uninstall the programs or remove them from add/remove programs to actually free up space.
