hey all, i have a little problem here in photoshop when i try to use the shortcuts they are not working. zoom is ctrl+ + but its not working , paste is CTRL v , its not working. anyone knows why ? its the same in other programs i belive /mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' />

you cant always just paste
and for the zoom, click on teh black arrow movie thing and click on the image, then try zooming

Ctrl + V does paste in Photoshop though. No idea why it isn't working. A reinstall will probably fix it.

im saying you cant always just paste. like if you copy something that doesnt match where you are going to put it it doesnt always work.

if edit/paste is grayed out then you know why. like i said you mihgt have to click in the area you are working with using teh black arrow to get stuff like that to work.

oh, it doesnt work in other programs

well it works for windows, it works for firefox but paint doesent work neither. word, notepad..etc work

whenever it doesnt work, are you able to manually paste from EDIT/PASTE?
if not then its not pasteable

yea i am able.
another problem, firefox keeps asking me to accept something, i guess i clicked on "always ask" button, how do i remove this?

One its possible that you are not running a licensed version of Photoshop.

Two, have you tried rebooting the computer?

Three, does this happen with any other programs?

Four, have you tried reinstalling the program?
