When is this card coming out???
Can somebody provide a benchmark link other than the one on Tom's?
How much is it supposed to be when it hits the streets? I know the MSRP is $299, but how much is it really gonna be for the first few months?
Is it SLI compatible?
When is the AGP version coming out?
THANKS

no ATI cards have SLI support.
ATI is making their own multi GPU setup.. but since SLI isnt the standard. ATI's will be different.

The margin is a small as with the 6800 and 6600GT. 6800>6600GT
btw... thanks for all those link mr.wicked, I'll check them out now

Even if the X800 XL performed slightly less than the 6800 GT (which it doesn't, it performs better) its still $100 cheaper.
Too bad its only PCIe.
From what I've heard, ATI will only be releasing 1 agp8x variant of their new cards, and it will be somewhere along the lines of an X850 XT , as far as price and performance.

As far as I know, there are no restrictions in running any (ATI or otherwise) PCI-e graphics card in an nForce4-SLI based motherboard as long as you're using it as a single card in non-SLI mode. I'm referring to the possibility of running an X800XL PCI-e card in such a mobo, not any future ATI multi-card solution. Anyone have proof to the contrary?
As for when the card is coming out...Mwave has limited supplies of Power Color X800XLs.

Yeah, the X800XL is....to me...just a tad bit slower than the 6800GT. But it isnt by much. And the cost will be around $50-100 cheaper than the 6800GT. All in all, those two cards are very comparable. And it is a prime example of how to compete with 16 pipes....you must have 16 pipes of your own. But, the X800XL, in mass quantity....probably mid-late Feb.
