glad to see them hitting retail channels, the prices will start to fall soon...
is it just me, or is that board really ugly? DFI has got to come up with some better colors...like that red and white sapphire board....

i also just noticed that all teh boards SATA ports are regular SATA150....i just googled teh ATI southbridge chipset...and it says taht teh current SB450 south bridge chipset has no support for SATAII....ATI may have to make a revision there...I kno many people are starting to get SATAII drives....and they r gonna want to use them at tehir full potential

Board colours arn't too bad, but why did they put the RAM slots there!?!? It completely goes against most all of the current designes, with the RAM on the left and CPU right... odd.
Hmm what can I expect from DFI when they put the RAM over the CPU on the NF4 series boards, and others... oh well.
Nice board /biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />.

Nah, it was out a long time ago. About a week after the X1800XT was released. But it cost about $260...then $239...now $209. But recently DFI officially announced it, even though it has been out. But still....[content edited] nice looking board.

I know, I was wondering this too. My CPU cooler for example likes to blow air out of the rear case fans, but if I was to use this board, the RAM would be in the path of the airflow, maybe it'd make it get hotter? I'm not sure about the design, I don't think I like the slots on the left of the CPU like that. The Sapphire board is what I'd buy right now.

Ordered. I had a $25 coupon to newegg. So the final damage was around $180.
