Hmm, I think the only reason MS wants it dead is because they are losing money from company's useing Windows 2k instead of Windows XP Pro /sleep.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sleep.gif' />

Micro$oft doesn't mind the small amount of individuals using it, but you bet your bippy they do mind the corporations that use it.

Win2k is the fastest and most stable OS M$ has every released. <--many people (not just me /tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /> ) would agree with that, the reason people use XP is because it has more features

yes, but saying 2k is a crippled 98 is at least as wrong. 98 is a DOS based OS, win2k is an NT based OS.

At my work we use a mixture of Win 2K and XP pro depending on what we have to do but we mostly use XP pro and find it works well 99% of the time.

No it dosen't, that's new in xp.

I wouldn't mind going back to 2k, but, eventualy I'l like to go 64bit and that's xp, so why bother changeing back in the first place.
