I am a new AOL member, is there really spyware behind AOLs MANDATORY window ??

i have AOL 9 but i have some people i know who have downgraded to AOL 7 or 8 just to make sure new spyware cannot have the run of their computer (allegedly)

lol, no spyware if u dont use all the specail features u can just use there dail up connetor, that doesnt load there main program

wait do they have the dialup connector.............or is that the thing where u dialup usin the windows modem thing?

yeah AOL 9 has a dial up connector. its for updates and things is not it?

Could you get a dial up connection program for Broadband, that way I could just connect to AOL but use Firefox?

aoldial is the program it comes with the new 9, u just open that and it makes the connetion without usesing the aol program
