Megadeth Senior Member Posts: 7822 Joined: 08/14/2004	I have an LSI Logic Ultra320 Controller and two Fujisu (identical) Ultra320 36.6 GB hard drives. To run RAID 0, what else do I need? How many cables? What kind of cables? What about the controller?

Megadeth Senior Member Posts: 7822 Joined: 08/14/2004	It is on PCI-X. PCI-X cards are backwards compatible with PCI standard. I had it running in an older rig before. How do I setup RAID 0?

technic58 Minister of Spare Parts Posts: 13953 Joined: 07/25/2004	well are u reinstallin Xp on them? dont u press F2 or somthin to load drivers for the card? and it depends on the drives wat cables ull need. Megadeth Senior Member Posts: 7822 Joined: 08/14/2004	i'm gonna install XP on them...the drives are U320 scsis i believe the 68 or 50 pin ones and the controller is u320 68 or 50 pin same as the drives, question is i only have on cable, to run RAID 0 on U320 is the cable like an IDE cable where there are two heads on the cable and one goes into each drive
