I don't use it but my friend say's its a good file sharing program. Every file sharing program is legal, its just that people sharing copyright files makes it illegal. If you just download mods and free stuff, its legal. If you download music and movies for free, it isn't legal. But if you pay for a membership for the file sharing program saying that every music or movie download is legal, I would assume it would be legal.

It is a P2P program that shares content that has not been sold to you in some sort of way. The program itself is not illegal the material that you can download, yes some of it is illegal. All P2P programs are said to be for "legal" purposes, but it is almost never used that way. The P2P programs themselves are not illegal but the material you download could be...

Anything thats copyrighted is illegal to download, unless it is said to be free of cost. (Ex. Games, Music, Movies)

Even beyond that. For example, GT2 is now free to download from their site. Does that mean that you can legally download it from a P2P network?

NO.

Like I said, Unless its said to be free of cost. By them putting that on their website for people to download the full version, thats like saying you can have it for free

It is free, on the manufacturers website, you can download GT1, GT2 and 1 other game. BUT that doesn't make it legal to get them from P2P sites. Even if a program is free, you still are supposed to go through the proper channels to get it.

That don't make sense... If they distubite it freely, there should be some alternate way of getting it

It makes perfect sence. They still require you to register before you can download.

Even if it is free doesn't change the fact that there is still an EULA.

That's stupid. As if you would get yourself into legal trouble for downloading a free game via P2P... It ain't gonna happen.
