yer but its abit late to see the 65nm cores becuase its out 2 days time and u do see how the kl8 goes becuase amd use it for opterons 2-3months ahead of desktops so you can see through there

AMD isnt going to drive down prices because their manufacturing facilities are already at full capacity no need to drive down prices to increase sales

that would be a strictly business solution, yes. but as a customer oriented company, they know, or should know, if their prices go down, more will buy, which will increase the demand on their product, which will make the investors happier, which will mean a new investment for a new fab. thats the smarter decision

I've said it here before, desktop cpu sales are for "beer money"... the real market is servers/workstations/supercomputers, and the groups buying these have more buying power and funding than any desktop user will ever have.

A perfect example is the US government, you guys remember the Opteron based super computers that were being bought up by government agencies?
