if i get agieas PPU the cpu wouldnt be bottlenecking the gpu anymore because now the ppu takes care of physics (if the cpu even took care of that?) am i right? or wrong? and if i am wrong please tell me why.



and.... would a fx-55 bottleneck a x1900xt?

You will only see a benefit in games that are written for it. It won't do anything for any other programs.

If you played at 1024x768, yeah it would. If you played at 1900x1440, maybe not.

It's hard to say what might be the hold up once you throw a specalized physics chip into the mix. It could be the case that the physics chip could then be the bottleneck, and the rest of the system has to wait for it. A lot depends on the game being run on the machine.
