I have a old copy of Bryce 3D and noticed another company is now offering Bryce 6.0. The original creator I believe was MetaCreations and now is being offered by DAZ. Is this the same program and where is the best place to purchase this software. They want $100 @ DAZ or $6 if your a platinum member. If anyone knows about this or has any info and might know the best place to purchase I would greatly appreciate it.

Yeah, I do use both (as well as others, but those are the two I tend to use the most). I use Bryce 5.5, personally. For $36 (the cost of a one month Platinum membership + the $6 for the program itself), it's a great deal. I'd recommend continuing the platinum club membership (after that it's ~$8/mo), as they give you tons of freebies, discounts, and $5 for any Daz program each month. Well worth it.

Ill give that a try. I really like Bryce 3D but the version I have is old and doesnt have very much, just basic tools, etc. It looks like the new version has a lot of add-ons, imports, etc. I think for first time it would be best to buy direct.
