Oh ok then .
Still the thing is when you pay over 600 buck for a video card should it not be getting that off the gate I mean it really is not any better than the 8800 in respect . and all the hype was for ???? OH yeah that 3 FPS more right ?

But I thought those were on shoddy drivers seems pretty respectable to me. And it's not like people that have 8800s are going to buy them... Well they might but clearly that would be waste of money

That is a good point... most people that have mid entry cards might want to upgrade to this.. i dont see why people with 8800s would though

Well as far as it goes I would rather have 2 8800's than this card but that is just me .

Well I am not sure what they will name this series.. But I suspect AMD X2800 or something. I'd like to get the X2800XT Not XTX. Hopefully that will be like the same as I bought my card for. It would be a wiser decision for me to change to the ATI because of GDDR4 which is helpful at lower resolutions compared to the 8800s, correct?

the GX2(and higher) is better at resolutions over 1280X1024. All of the ATi cards do better at resolutions < 1280X1024

Since I have an older card. I would definitely choose the better of the 2 cards by far a R600 would be it. Even on unfinished drivers it kicks [content edited].

Same here, but It was either this or the 7950GT, and I have heard that thing comes with LOADS of problems.

Hardware wise mine is fine. Just a small mistake on my part with the drivers.
