I hope this is not against the competitive product rules, seeing as ATI has merged with AMD. If it is just tell me and warn others not to post. Anyway. Im looking to build a system for gaming, but prefferably for as little as possible. Got pretty much everything decided, but was wondering, out of Nvidia and ATI which has the best value for money?

That depends on your price range. If your looking in the...ehh what 150-200 range or so I think nVidia solidly has ATI beat...those 7600 series cards are great for the money. However if you want to spend anymore I would say ATI. I love ATI and I've always been a fan of their cards and drivers, but nVidia rules the midrange right now.

EDIT: WOW heck nevermind, I had forgotten about ATI's new models....look at this X1950Pro

Don't think nVidia can beat that for the price range...

That is a nice card. I was fairly impressed until i saw the price, then i almost died with amazement. How is crossfire though? I've heard it doesnt really stack up to SLI, but i'm not sure.
