I think its a good thing. Intel has had a monoply on pritty much all home computers. It's tiem for them to step out of the spot light for a moment. Just imagen what alien were can do with the AMD FX-60.

Business is Business. This may bode well for a Dell and AMD relationship, so hopefully that can happen.

I hear ya dude. The company my dad works for got out bid by Micheal Dell on a Hotel out here in Hawaii. I'm actually currently stayin in the hotel next to it. Its a nice hotel but Micheal Dell's team apparently doesn't know how to manage it well. Apparently they spend way too much money. Also apparently he payed way to much for it ($675 Million). He's not going to get his investment back... lol. What the heck does Micheal Dell want with a hotel anyways?

no one cares.

Dell makes low quality computers, and Alienware makes overpriced computers, i'm not really too surprised.

Well they can't get rid of the premium entirely or else why buy a dell PC?

Although I wonder if they'll even keep the alienware brand.

Now now remember that Dell is not intel, and that they will not want to decrease revenues by about 80% from this new company they just bought.
