Does anyone here know of good, in depth articles or documents on the various ways of water hydrolysis, preferably electrolysis. I'm in the design stage of a project right now, and if I can find a decently efficient way to split water into hydrogen and oxygen, I'll be on my way to the patent office.

At this point in time, I cannot mention any specifics, as if this works, it's almost guaranteed that I will never have to actually work again in my life. If I can find a way for efficient electrolysis, I will have it patented, then release some actual details on it.

I used google already and as I said, I'm looking for something very in depth on the subject.

I think the big problem you have here is efficiency. there are several ways of producing hydrogen and none of them is very efficient.

Yea. What im thinking of right now is a single container, but with multiple plates and a very high voltage and high current feed of electricity for them. Just need to figure out what should be mixed with the water. I'll upload a rough layout of my design when its finished for the container, but the rest of it will be blacked out for privacy reasons.

Right. Like hydrochloric acid on zinc will make you hydrogen gas but then you run the risk of buring yourself (and you can't buy that stuff at Lowe's). I'm not sure if its going to be feasible, your talking about splitting molecules into their components with household items. If it does work though you will be a genius!

there is on place you could go but I think they woiuld ask some questions about you and what not . los alomos nation labs , sandia labs as well. I think he want's a way to make water into hydrogen ( I think) and this would take some power to do and coletion plates as well . but any way you stack it up it is not going to be cheep . I maybe giving ninja my Opteron 170 if I get the M2 that is .

He hasn't yet as the cpu that was meant to replace it in my system (my 148) was destroyed by canada post in shipment here. As soon as I get it all worked out for the insurance money, I'll be sending it off.

Blue is oxygen, red is hydrogen. The actual electronics havent been shown for simplicity, and that big grey box is covering up what I don't want to reveal quite yet.

I'd jump in on that investment. Just the word "electolysis" sparked my interest. Hurry up and get it to work so you can tell us what it is. It better be revolutionary for all the suspense.
