i have a deal where i can get this laptop with a Ram upgrade to 1 GB for $1500 ( AUS ) is this a good laptop? i will be using it to mainly play World Of Warcraft and do some basic word processing

Yes that laptop should do very well with WoW. Definitely get it!

Shouldnt be too bad, make sure DO NOT get the radeon xpress 200 graphics if you plan on playing wow, my gfs turion laptop cannot handle wow at all.
