Does anyone know how to reset a BIOS in a laptop? Somehow someone set a password on it, and I'm not who did, and no one seems to know the password. I know you usually take out the CMOS battery in a desktop, but what about a laptop?

As a side note, on my Dell Latitude D810 the cmos battery (from what I can tell) is located under the main battery compartment, via another port.

So you might want to check out that area and see if it is there.
