ok so I'm guessing 0616? Because 0161 is week 61 (of 52 weeks in a year), 2001 (A64 wasn't even out yet). I had the 0616 but RMAed it and got my stepping in sig /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" /> But the previous one ran really hot and I couldn't even get 2.6GHz on it due to the temps.

my thoughts exactly, 1.5v is the max i will ever go.

yeah, thats right, its an 0616XPMW, typo .

wow... stix screenie inspired me, so here is my result (334x9 1.475v @ 7°C according to thermal probe)
http://img.photobucket.com/alb.../charlie22911/cool.jpg

anyhow, i tried 2.9GHz and it failed instantly... as did anything above that speed. so until i get the new stuff i guess thats my max for now . i bet a pretty penny i can get 3+ GHz stable pretty easy

EDIT:
BTW, for those of you that know what it is, i used difluoroethane to cool my cpu down to that temperature in the screenie .
