I see a lot of "less then intelligent" or just plan uninformative product comments on Newegg. To say the least, I don't trust them. I want to here some opinions and concerns of some real techies. I think this product is a sure thing, but tell be what you think...

What's there to be a sure thing about? It's ram! lol

Seriously though, if your worried about the Brand, GSkill is solid, I've heard nothing but good things from their support, life-time warranty, etc, and generally they have aggressive timings or clocks.

lol, true - RAM is RAM. I have never used that brand before nor do I know anyone who has. I have gone with OCZ or Kingston for 90% of my builds... The price was right, just trying to be sure I am not making a wrong choice.

I have Gskill in my PC, my dads, my sisters, and her laptop, I've been buying it since I stumbled across it for my sisters aging P4 system, can't beat the price for the quality you get imo.

That is the RAM I'm using. I have no complaints after a year of use. It has been running at DDR2 858 on stock voltage.

As you can see in my Sig, I use G.Skill and have never had a problem, seem to be solid and for the price, there you have it.

I went ahead and purchased 2 sets of 1GB. Installed it and ended up have a configuration nightmare, but that was not the RAMs fault. I have some wierd addressing issue with my HDDs. Any way, after trying to get my box to post for 1.5 hours, everything is dandy.
