I couldn't find the old thread, and with the arrival of the new Phenoms and AM3 soon, I think it's time we have a thread to see where we stand on DDR2 and DDR3. Of course, it's open to all systems so we can see were we stand and how we can improve our systems in relation to what others are getting.

Please list your system scores in the following format so I don't have to chase you all down. A screenshot is nice, but it doesn't always include all the information needed so we can quickly compare and look at our scores. Please also run the latest version of Everest. An older version shouldn't make a difference, but the latest version ensures compatability with newer systems.

CPU type @ GHz @ volts | HT/FSB reference clock | HT multiplier/CPU multiplier | NB GHz/HT-NB GHz | RAM model & type -amount @ effective MHz - Timings @ volts | Memory Read MB/s
Motherboard make and model and BIOS version
NB chipset
SB chipset

(screenshot)

Please include the NB and NB-HT link speed if you have a Phenom system. This can be found in your BIOS or in the AOD utility. If you use the trial edition and can't find the name of your motherboard or chipset, you can find it in the AOD utility or in CPU-Z.

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. I'll try to keep things listed as quick as I can. If you have more than one system, I will post them, but I will only post a stock and your top overclocked benchmark run in the Top Scores List. So maximum of two runs per rig.

Just like its user, my computer is getting old. These weren't too bad of scores back in the "good old days". Anyway, this is what I have.

Vista Home Premium X86
AMD X2 5600+ @ 2800MHz @ 1.34v | 200MHz | 5/14 | 1GHz | Kingston Value Ram PC-6400 - 2x1GB @ 800Mhz (5-5-5-18 @ 1.8v) | 8309 MB/s

These numbers seem a tad low....

AMD Phenom II 940 BE @ 3.41GHz @ 1.4 | 200 | 5/17| 1.8Ghz | G.Skill PC8000 4x2GB @ 800Mhz - 5-5-5-15 @ 1.8v | 6526MB/s
Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 f7h
AMD770
AMD SB600
Windows Vista Ultimate x64

Probably because I'm recording TV, syncing a backup, downloading stuff, and benchmarking the ram all at the same time,

I'll run it again later when all the above is done, lol.

OK, first off... awesome support and enthusiasm. I like that, and we'll all benefit from this. Onto the bad part; I need you folks to put up your information in the format I showed in mine and in the benchmark OP. I'll do what I can, but not all information is posted on the screenshot or in your sigs. I would prefer it being typed out, so I can cut, copy and paste as mush as possible and fill the rest in.

Yes, it sounds like I'm being lazy, but I've run a few of these before, and when you get a lot of results coming in, and if I miss a day or two because I'm doing other things, it takes a while to get everything caught up, and the order sorted out. As of now, you'll all have to edit your posts and put in the information I need. I need to know your operating system and if it's x86 or x64.

OK, sorry to sound like a schmuck, but so far, I like the results. Hopefully we'll see some more 939 and even some older 754 results.... and hopefully some AM3 results soon! I'll try to get around to some of my older machines and see what I can dredge up later, after I get these results figured out....

Hey now, don't diss 939, my little opty knocked down a few of those AM2 guys in the raptor bowl, if it weren't for their obscene overclock and hard drive bonuses, I would have beat em all with a 939

Oh i know about the OC bonus, thats why i downgraded my system to the 4200+ and thats how i borked the bios, i know i can get that chip to 3.1ghz, which would have been a 1ghz overclock. Shoulda locked affinity on the cpu and clocked it up even higher. I think the problem that screwed my bios is that i was using a beta verson of the bios.
