I know my overclock isn't high. I don't want it to be. I'm just keeping stock voltages and trying to run cool on air cooling.
NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON HERE THOUGH.

Running on a m3a79-t deluxe
ram is corsair dominator 1066 running at 5-5-5-15-23 @532 mhz

stock is 1800mhz, I havent been running into any stability issues or anything like that, I'm just kind of wondering if this is a bad thing? should i set ht link to run at ram speeds? around 1064mhz? Dont know too much about amd processor overclocking. Thanks.

Why is your cpu at a 12.5 multiplier?

The NB is linked to the HTT setting, 9x is the default multiplier, 266*9=2394

But seriously, if your trying to maintain a small OC, why crank the HTT so much, why not just bump up the multiplier? I can only guess your trying to clock up the ram some. because in my playing, I get exactly the same results whether I set it via the HTT bus or just upping the multipler.

by the way, welcome to the forums!

thanks. I had no idea. I just set bus at at 266 so thats why i have 12.5 so i can have low overclock, I shouldn't be running 200 with 1066 rated ram right?

AMD systems, the ram and HTT bus are mostly independent. You should have a memory clock multiplier setting in your bios, for 1066 ram, that should be a multiplier of 5.33. the stock multiplier for that cpu is 16, and it's upward unlocked. so, I'd recommend keeping the HTT at 200 if all you want is a small overclock, and like I said, it doesn't seem to make heads or tails difference benchmark/performance wise for some reason.
