I'm trying to keep the cost under $300 recycling the 2xIDE hd's, optical drives, flopy drive, winxp5.1 build 2600, viewsonic dvi monitor and ATX case. This is what I have for the upgrade: CPU: Phenom II X3 710 http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16820134488 Mobo: Biostar TA790GX XE http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16813138140 PSU: Corsair CMPSU-0400CX http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16817139008 RAM:Corsair 2 x 2GB DDR2800 http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16820145184 This is a multi-use home pc. I'd sure appreciate any suggestions for improvements or compatibility issues. ------------------------- newbie
