Welcome

I have this cpu in my old rig. I got it up to 1935Mhz by bumping up the ref. clock in the BIOS (200 X 9 = 1800 to 215 X 9 = 1935 )

-------------------------
PII 1100T (Extinct)
Asus M4A78T-E (should be Extinct)
4Gb of Corsair XMS3 1600Mhz DDR3 (Going strong)
2x1GB 5850's (On their last lags)
Corsair HX850W (Awsome)
NZXT Phantom case (too ***** big)

Thanx

I know some basics of Overclocking. But I would appreciate if there is someone who could write down step by step OC-ing. Like how high voltage needs to be and stuff. Multiplier is not locked so I can change it. I was hoping to OC it on apx 2.2 GHz.

Depending on system config&components an s939 A64 3000+ can go 2.0-2.2 without much effort, some samples take 2.4GHz with an OC friendly motherboard. There are a large number of OC guides on the web, with reference to socket939 systems.

I know that. I would OC it on 2.0 or 2.2. But I was hoping someone would write how to do it step by step. Is there someone willing to? :-)
