Well there is only one word for the 955BE !Amazing!,have it running at the same 3.8ghz,but a vcore of only 1.375v,and rock stable, ran all the same tests as in my other thread, even left everest stability test running all night, max temp 50c,idle 35c,just purring along nicely, and the AS5 still not burnt in yet.

4.0ghz+ should not prove any problem,as theoldtimer has found out,and at very low voltages,we shall see,???.

Hmmm I think my opinion has changed on the 955. Looks to be from a good batch like my 940. I can get mine up to 3.7 on the stock voltage. I have had to do a few minor bumps to it for stability. Seems like the 955 is a similar contender.

keep it goin HenMaster!

we're not worthy, we're not worthy.

BTW Im curious, would you say overall the 955 is running hotter/same/less than the 940 and the 9950.

My gut tells me that it will run cooler than the 9950, and maybe cooler than the 940. The vcore is interesting, which is why Im guessing the temps are a little better.

Hi Aaron, yes the 955 runs cooler than the 940,as i said before she dont like or need high voltages, the 955 was designed to produce roughly 20% less heat than the 940,hence the lower temps at higher clocks.
