That's because windows 7 is DX11,Heaven will run in DX11 on non dx11 GPU'S,but not to it's full potensial.

I thought you must be force feeding those 4870X2's to get them to run that hard Buckshot3280. You having any trouble keeping them cool enough to run the benchtest more than once without a cool-down period?

nah....I'm only running them once at that speed until my aftermarket coolers arive, then I'm not too worried about heating issues. I just wanted to see if they could do it without artifacting. After I get the new coolers on I may flash them to 1.35v that is what the Asus Top cards run at. Then I shoudl be able to run them at 860MHz core....we'll see

Ed that's a great score. I played with this bench test some running my two 4870X2's and so far I haven't topped your two 295's, I can get close though. If the test also relied on processor speed I'd be there but unfortunately it doesn't.

All I did was ramp up the video cards some and ran a benchmark. I could probably score higher if I wanted to. I have never tried sqeezing all I could out of any of my oc's on any of the benchmarks test programs. I don't have the patience to play around with stuff like that, to get every last drop out of my system.

I was really REALLY close though.....I'll hit that easy once I get the aftermarket coolers on my graphics cards.

Those are some strong numbers Ed, are the cards maxed out yet?

I just bought the Corsair HX 1000W for quad 5970 CrossFire . How is it feeding your quad XFX GTX 295 SLI ed6698 ? Can you show me the +12V and +5V and +3.3V readings under load please ?

I didn't get to where Ed is but I gained on him a bit. There may be some left in the cards if I can keep them a little cooler. When I try more clock the test locks about a third of the way through. I locked the 550BE at two cores and pulled most of the overclock out of everything.
