I have been seeing many here asking for suggestions on there Rigs Over Clocking configurations spread out in many different topic threads here at AMD Forums . Some are just stuck against the wall on there max oc and some need help right from the start . I put this thread up to keep all the over clocking information in one area to make it easier for everyone to find . Post away gang . prim95 is a tool I have been using for years to test my cpu , cash and memory over clock 100% stability .. I would like everyone to read this when you have the time and read it several times now and then . It will help you understand this test as it was designed and then became the best cpu , cashes , memory and cooling stability test out there to stress your PC enough to make it bullet proof . prime95 over clockers stability testing

good idea-but since this forum doesnt have stickys, it will be at the bottom in a few days and someone else will start a new thread.
still dont understand why they dont have stickys here

Its okay dimmwit13 . Just be nice to have it all in one place hopefully as time goes on . There will be valuable over clocking information here for all to access quickly .

Well its not for me . If it works out , great for all , if not then it will get lost out here like the other one you say was started before . If the gang wants to use it its here to make it easier for us to help them and for them to help them self's with the information being in one general thread for over clocking .

I'll post back when I receive my new 125w 965 later in the week.
I like to "show off" as much as the next guy, but I agree, no forum sticky's is gay.

Thanks pcnazz, my plan is to eventually build an AM3 system around the 965.
I'm gonna miss my 955, Newegg agreed to exchange it out for the new 965.

Quite positive it was IL who purposed the last OC assistance thread.
We had talked about a series of overclocking reviews done in more layman's terms with a pictorial guide to help ease the need for continued identical threads over and over again.

lol Guru, black mail comes in handy at times.
I bought the 955 on October 18th, Newegg has a 30 day CPU exchange poilcy.
They agreed to it since I was buying a different CPU of higher value.

HOLY CRAP!!!!! The Egg did me the same solid!!! I got me a 125W PII 965BE on the way to me right now!!!!!! They are issuing me an RMA Refund on my PII 955BE, I pay ??% restocking fee ($28) and they are refunding me the rest of it. Purchased the new CPU out-right!!!!!
I don't care what anyone says about the Egg going public....they are GRADE-A in my book now!!!!!!
Back-flips anyone!?!?!?!?!? I would do it myself, but I'm getting too old for that crap and since the wife is on bed rest with twins on the way, I can't afford breaking my neck!!! LOL
