No it's cool man really no offense taken, I was just repeating your logic. Believe it or not I do use your benches for comparison (I dont condone or abide by double standards), because I know just as well as anyone that I could be running an AMD with Nvidia setup at some point in the future(most likely bulldozer refresh). The thing I've seen with real world benches, like this Farcry 2 one is that CPU isnt as important as the GPU, according to comparisons between my score and Guru's. I'm not exactly spanking his cards or anything, I'd say we are right about even, except that he runs an AMD cpu and I run an Intel cpu.

Ed is correct that comparing different base systems is rather pointless and many here wont use your benchmarks as a reference.
Just the truth of the matter is all, nothing personal.
First, thanks for the welcome. Second, it's nothing personal to me. In fact it's very hard to offend me without shooting at me first. I understand that some may not use my base for comparisons, but this is very different than the 7 other communities I've been in where every joe waits for the newest leapfrog in performance from one brand to another(true enthusiasts). I think the only people that dont use my benches as a comparison, are the dyed in the wool consumers(I'm sure even shareholders look at the competition's results) that plan to be loyal unto death to one brand, whereas I and many others vie for the most powerful hardware available regardless of brand. I'm an ATi/AMD fanboy, but I'm not stupid or blind, and if I'm going to pay top dollar for whichever brand's strongest workhorse is available, then thats what I expect and you better believe that I'm going to compare it to the strongest from other brands.
