Hey Canis, I see in you example SS that you have "notepad" opened, with your name and "Example screen shot" printed in it. Did you just want a name in it or are you looking for stats. to be filled in.

Those examples were from a competition that I submitted for in the past. It had what they needed in there for the submission, I just painted over that text and placed what you see in there now. You can disregard it TBH, but I thought that it would be good practice to display a submission post as most competitions are requiring now-a-days to help people that are new to competing learn how to do it the "standard" way from the start.

Don't get the wrong idea on his 970 cq , he has ss phase cooling to it ( cyro-z ) so its gonna require less v-core then our cooling would at higher clocks . That cyro-z is very nice for everyday cpu cooling solution , its also dead silent , nice machine for everyday and now jc proving it to be also good for everyday Gulftown use .

Very interesting results. I read somewhere that the cryo Z was having trouble on Gulftown when it comes to Linpack and Prime95. I was not aware that he was on phase, I suppose I dont feel so bad now...lol. In any event, great scores man. Now you need to unlock those cards and beat my vantage score. That should give me enough time to top your 3dmark11 scores and put these 2 5970s where they belong for a while...

I might finally go phase sometime in the near future, right now it's in the "consideration" phase...

Cyro-Z wont handle LinX load or P95 load on Intel bloominfield either but it will on AMD Thuban . However for everyday use Cyro-Z had no problem with Bloominfield and jc is now proven the same for Gulftown which is nice to see . I have a custom 2 stage cascade I would sell cq and its mint and it sees right now -120c unmounted . Only reason why I would sell is to have my builder send me a 3 stage cascade . I have some nice threads around cq on my results with the 2 stage cascade , I hold 1090T cascade top seeds at Hwbot with it ( except one that I did have #1 on that to but it was a pic and I took it out and never ran it again for a ss . )

Thanks man, 4.6ghz is stable, but offers negative performance versus 4.2-4.4ghz.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Thanks to both Nazz and CQ!!!

I still have a lot of learning to do on this setup, Intel is a beast and has a lot of new and different settings to learn.

I would love to unlock these HIS 6970's but I am waiting for the Asus 6970's to become avalible before i do any real GPU OC'ing. This HIS 6970's are basically on loan to me because I tried 2 5970's and they both crapped out on me so until the good stuff is avalible I am borowing these and I have to say they are some pretty mean cards.. Only thing is no V control. Asus does however so look out. haha

You may feel that way, but score submissions are equally valuable regardless of score. As in it's hard to crunch numbers that dont exist and formulate comparisons based on said non-existent numbers. By the way I've seen way lower scores...keep up the good work...
