would that still be the problem even though the computer is turning on? It appears that everything is powering on except the pump

I was also thinking about RMAing the pump and just getting http://www.frozencpu.com/produ...y_Reservoir_Pump.html

I know the possible problems with one of these but it just seems that I'm having one helluva time finding a place for the pump AND reservoir that is aesthetically pleasing.

I hear ya there. I've been toying with the idea of getting something along the lines of the below. But, if I get one I want to make sure that the pump is external to the res so that I can troubleshoot/replace it easily if I need to.

I definitely agree with ya there. You think the pump might be my problem? I just don't understand why it would work perfectly hooked up outside of the case and as soon as it's moved into the case there's no response from it.

Have you tested the molex that you are connecting the pump to - to say a fan to make sure that power is being supplied? If the fan doesn't power up either then it is not the pump.

OK I'll test that out later tonight then. I plugged it into a few different Molex connectors last night but nothing.

Thats what I originally thought it was as well but after plugging it into a few different ones I strayed away from that thought.

It turned out that I had my reservoir too low so the "pumping" wasn't that great. I fixed the problem by holding the reservoir about 2 inches above the pump but I obviously couldnt do that 24/7 so I RMA'd the pump back and ordered http://www.svc.com/x2opdual.html.

I know the risks that go along with this pump / res but the trouble I was having trying to find a place to mount both the pump and res seperately completely justifies it to me. And for only $50 when every other place sells for around $70 was too good to pass up.

I have since stripped my case down and painted some PSU wires black with vinyl dye. I am going to do the case wires tonight.

The pump should be here tomorrow and the new tubing (1/2" ID x 5/8" OD) should be here hopefully by the weekend so I'll be able to use the compression fittings I originally bought.

Just checked the tracking for my packages and they should both be here tonight....

New reservoir, fan cable extensions, tubing, and coolant.

Hopefully some pics up by this weekend.
