I'm looking to upgrade my RAM.would it be better to get Corsair Dominator 1333mhz and oc it later when i do oc my cpu,Or i got a chance to get Ripjaws X-Sereis 1600 cl7 and downclock it til i do my oc.Both are 8 gig sets.I have a Phenom IIx4975 on an ASRock 970 Extreme and will probably stay with that cpu for at least a yr.Or is there a better solution? Thanks

I went ahead with the Corsair Dominator set, plus i got 2 sets.It was recomended with the memory configuator, plus a coulple articles on the Ripjaws didn't give me much confidence in that particular set.If anyone thinks i made a mistake,Let me know.Thanks..

If gamng and higher FPS or benchmarking are your primary goals, then you'll see very little difference.
I would opt for the RipjawsX, fantastic memory, I own three different 2x4GB sets.
1600 (or higher) memory would allow for more overclocking headroom.

I bought the Dominator after reading some reviews saying it oc'd very well,That said,A friend has already called first dibbs if it's not what i'm going for.The crucial i'm running now is exellent, but just not for gaming.I'll see how it goes.As far as the G-Skill,what set would you recomend?
