I am looking at a new desktop, and possibly the new APU Processors. I want to know however if we can use any PCI-E Graphics Cards with these? I have just heard different stories and some people saying you cannot use addon graphics cards with these APU's. It seems we get better performance from an APU as opposed to a CPU?

You typically can use an addon discrete graphics card and then either choose to dedicate your graphics processing through it or run it in CrossFire but if you choose the latter, you have to make sure that the two (Integrated and discrete) can be setup in crossfire. To answer that question you have to choose your APU first, then we can look to see what discrete GPU's are available to you.
