Trickson...memory and GPU setup can add alot. My aginh 939 socket is still in the pack. Setup your memory and GPU right along with your processor, and it's amazing what difference can be. Plus overclocking the bus will add some improvements, plus which Windows and how your OS is setup. But this can help see where your strengths and weaknesses are. Fine tune your settings and it will payoff in games, decoding, etc. You don't even have to overclock to get gains. Better drivers, BIOS settings and so on can make an improvement also. Glad to see you here benchmarking!

Well here are my scores, bit skewed really, comparing them to the others seems a bit odd, as I get top for rendering 1 CPU, 2nd for rendering x cpu, dont even make the podium on the Speedup, and only get a 5th place for the OpenGL

Rendering (1 CPU)

kazgirl -- x2 6000 3450MHz 230x15 @1.525v | Vista32 | 8800gts 513/792 | 2x1gb PC26400 Patriot 4-4-4-12 @ 431mhz| -- 2887

Rendering (x CPU)

kazgirl -- x2 6000 3450MHz 230x15 @1.525v | Vista32 | 8800gts 513/792 | 2x1gb PC26400 Patriot 4-4-4-12 @ 431mhz| -- 5431

Multiprocessor Speedup

kazgirl -- x2 6000 3450MHz 230x15 @1.525v | Vista32 | 8800gts 513/792 | 2x1gb PC26400 Patriot 4-4-4-12 @ 431mhz| -- 1.88

OpenGL Benchmark

kazgirl -- x2 6000 3450MHz 230x15 @1.525v | Vista32 | 8800gts 513/792 | 2x1gb PC26400 Patriot 4-4-4-12 @ 431mhz| -- 3194

Don't really know what to make of these results...lol...they're a bit all over the place, 1st, 2nd, last (AFAIK), and 5th.......?????

How can my CPU related scores be 1st and 2nd and yet speedup last, I can sort of get the whole OpenGL score as this is probably Vista32 driver related as my score here compares to Immortals 8800GTS with my lower GPU clock and GPU RAM speeds.....Hmmm....I may have to tweak them a bit.

Can anyone suggest any explanation, I'm not really sure how these results are supposed to translate....

Thanks

Kaz
